Happy Holidays/Travel to Cuba

As another exciting year of travel comes to a close, we look back to some of our favorite tours and experiences: dancing to AfroCuban beats alongside Cuban American artist Maria Magdalena Campos Pons and patrons of Spelman College Museum of Fine Art in Havana; enjoying the Prospect2 Biennial and the culinary offerings of New Orleans with individual collectors; touring Seattle’s finest glass artists with institutions ranging from the Smithsonian Journeys program to smaller collectors councils; and of course, visiting high-energy art and design fairs from Los Angeles, Miami to New York. No matter the destination, the highlight has been sharing stories with all of you over behind–the–scenes and off the beaten path experiences.

Looking forward to 2012 and beyond, we will see significant changes to The Jacobs Group™, with the most significant being that founder/owner Jennifer Jacobs will be taking more of a backseat role as she assumes new responsibilities in the art world. (announcements on this will be released publicly in January of 2012). Because of this reduced role in the company, we are really excited to announce what may be some of the last travel opportunities to travel to Cuba directly with her. We hope you will take a look at the 3 travel opportunities below as a rare opportunity to get an insiders perspective of Cuba, one of Jennifer's favorite places in the world.

2012 CUBA TOUR DEPARTURE DATES

3 DEPARTURE DATES AVAILABLE

We invite you to join us on our three tours of Cuba in 2012, a fascinating way of visiting Havana and learning about its amazing artists. Despite the easing of certain travel restrictions, Cuba remains extremely difficult to access, and few companies are able to obtain licenses. Thanks to our partners, both access and extraordinary links to artists and the people shaping to today’s Cuba are available to our guests.
