Prospect.2 Biennial
Artists and Venues Announced

Join us in New Orleans this fall! The Jacobs Group is pleased to be working with Prospect New Orleans to plan group itineraries for the Prospect.2 biennial, which kicks off the opening weekend on October 22, 2011 and continues into the New Year ending on January 29, 2012. The biennial is curated by Dan Cameron, and features an exciting list of local, national, and international artists, each creating works specifically for the biennial inspired by the city of New Orleans. Museum and cultural groups will receive special access to the Vernissage, which takes place October 20–21, 2011 with private previews at participating venues throughout the city. Additional events and activities will be programmed throughout the fall and winter.

Contact The Jacobs Group™ to customize a multi day itinerary to explore the biennial as well as other New Orleans treasures. We offer full turn–key travel program solutions including marketing, processing of registrations, on the ground staffing and management of tours, transportation, planning of meals and events, special access to artists studios and local collections, VIP credentials, and more.

ABOUT PROSPECT NEW ORLEANS

Prospect New Orleans is the premiere biennial of international contemporary art in the U.S. By showcasing new art from around the world in a setting that is both historic and culturally unique, Prospect New Orleans contributes to the revitalization of New Orleans by bringing international attention to the city’s visual arts community.

Prospect New Orleans was founded on the principle that the art of our time can play a significant role in the revitalization of an important U.S. city. As it evolves from a first–time biennial in Prospect.1 which attracted some 42,000 visitors to a local tradition with each subsequent Prospect New Orleans, the biennial remains committed to building a contemporary art tourism infrastructure upon a signature event that galvanizes local art creation and entrepreneurial activity, while attracting art lovers to New Orleans every–other–year.
