HAVANA, CUBA TOUR 2010

December 7–12, 2010

Once again, The Jacobs Group™ is partnering with Puentes Cubanos and Miami Light Project to offer a tour of Havana, Cuba this December 7–12, 2010. The week following the fairs at Art Basel Miami Beach, the tour departs from Miami the morning of December 7th, with an exciting itinerary featuring guided tours of the city, exploring Cuban culture from the Bellas Artes Museum and its rich history of Cuban art, to tours of the ISA (Superior Institute of Art), and visits to artist studios, galleries and collections. Our cultural tour will be rounded out by a visit to Guanabacoa and Ernest Hemingway’s house in Cojimar, lots of insiders’ cultural excursions, and performance options for music shows, contemporary dance performances, and the Latin American Film Festival. We will again be traveling under a humanitarian license from Jewish Solidarity, bringing donations of OTC medical, household and school supplies.

This all–inclusive package includes:

Airfare to/from Havana/Miami;
Hotel accommodations at the historic Hotel Nacional de Cuba;
Most meals; transportation, activities and expert guides; and a
Tax–deductible donation towards Miami Light Project’s ongoing cultural advocacy efforts.

As this trip continues to be very popular, only 4 spots are available. Contact us for details!

ATHENS

October 2010

With the Euro low and headed to parity, and austerity measures now calmly in place, we thought it timely to give a quick heads up about a unique travel opportunity to Athens this fall.

For the past year we have been working closely with artists, private collectors, and designers to develop a top notch tour to this part of the world. And despite the news of financial headaches for the region, our partners and insiders in Greece are thrilled at the prospect of hosting our group. In fact, for our American clients, it has made it that much more accessible. We’re busy renegotiating rates with hotels and other vendors, and will be launching full details on this tour in a few weeks. Contact us if you’re potentially interested, and/or watch for details in our next newsletter.
