Looking for something new and different for your patron or alumni travel program?
Consider bringing a group to New Orleans Oct. 29 - Nov. 2 for the opening of the new
Prospect.1 Biennial - a weekend sure to attract members and alumni of all ages and interests.
Conceived by internationally-renowned curator Dan Cameron,
Prospect.1 is an inaugural city-wide celebration to rebuild the cultural fabric of New Orleans and its historic cultural legacy following the human, civic, and economic devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Prospect.1 will feature the work of over 75 artists - from some of today’s most iconic artists, to a number of New Orleans-born and based local artists, and will be the largest international art biennial ever held in the United States, with over 100,000 square feet of exhibitions divided among several buildings in various historic New Orleans neighborhoods, including the Warehouse District, the Bywater, French Quarter, the Marigny, and the Treme.
Don’t miss out on this amazing travel opportunity -- there’s so much to see and do, we’ve created the perfect way to help museums, arts organizations, and alumni groups navigate through the exhibition offerings with high-access activities and sumptuous events.
Highlights include:
→ VIP access, insiders’ perspectives and curated tours of the Prospect.1 Biennial exhibition and special projects;
→ Specially arranged visits to New Orleans’ galleries, artist studios and other cultural sites;
→ Assistance in planning special events for your group, from culinary adventures, walking tours and other special activities to explore the town and its revitalization.
