Participants will enjoy the insights, perspectives and connections only a seasoned professional can provide - a curated path through the fair’s 5,000+ choices in search of the best and brightest products that will appear in magazines worldwide a few weeks after the show. The Jacobs Group will also arrange for special access, tours, and activities throughout the town at must see destinations.
ABOUT THE FAIR
The Milan show is the apex of the design and product world markets, far and away the largest event of its kind anywhere which is held every year. The Salone takes part at the worlds largest fairgrounds just outside the city (over 220,000 square metres) in over 20 massive buildings all connected by a flowing glass roof over a mile long. Equally important are the presentations in the galleries and shops throughout the old city center near the Duomo and in Zona Tortona, the hip design zone. The Salone runs from the 16th to 21st of April this year, with a line-up that includes the International Furniture Exhibition, Eurocucina (International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition), the new SaloneUfficio (International Biennial Workspace Exhibition - formerly EIMU), the International Bathroom Exhibition, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and the not to be missed SaloneSatellite, the worlds prime launch pad for an up-and-coming generation of designers.
Beside the excellence in commercial and home furnishing and product presenters, the huge variety of new products, the choreographed display stands and the faultless arrangements that ensure that any visit to the exhibition complex is rendered easier and more user-friendly, iSaloni, the event organizers, have put together an un-missable range of collateral events both at the fairgrounds and in the city.
