VISIT PICA AND PORTLAND FOR THE TBA FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER 6-16, 2007
The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art and Portland invite you and your organization to bring a group of trustees, patrons, members and/or staff to this year's 2007 Time-Based Art Festival, increasingly becoming a requisite stops for lovers of art and culture.
An annual convergence of contemporary performance, dance, music, new media and visual arts, now in its fifth year, TBA:07 will be presented from September 6-16, with visual art installations running until October 8. The TBA Festival examines and celebrates every form of contemporary art and is the only festival of its kind in North America.
In between Festival activities, visit Portland’s galleries and museums, enjoy the city’s parks and gardens, or shop along boutique-lined streets, tax-free no less. Learn why Portland was just crowned the Food Network’s most “Delicious Destination of the Year” by exploring Northwest cuisine in local restaurants, and sampling world-class Pinot Noir in town or via a day tour of Oregon's wine country.
The
Jacobs Group, founded by ex-PICA Director of Development Jennifer Jacobs, has
developed travel packages to meet the needs of organizations and individual performance
aficionados around the globe. Packages include TBA Passes, hotel accommodations,
transportation and unique and exclusive events and activities that show off the
best of our city. The dates, itinerary and pricing can be tailored to meet your
needs, interests and budget, and offer a complimentary fare for group leaders
as well.
